WITH just a week to go, more touching messages have been displayed on the Ty Bryngwyn Hospice Trust's Festival of Light appeal board.
The group has been fundraising furiously ahead of the annual Festival of Light service, which takes place next Friday, November 16.
And with supporters flocking to sponsor a light in honour of a lost loved one, the appeal's message board — at the entrance to Asda — is filled with tender commemorations.
Leslie and Susan Griffiths dedicated a light to Joan and Derrick Walker, writing: "Fondest memories of a special Mam and Dad, forever in our hearts. Miss you."
Mair Lewis wrote for David Lewis: "Missing you more as time goes by. Will love you forever."
Gerald and Terri Hughes's message for Maud and Frank Pike read: "Too dearly loved to be forgotten."
And Jill Johns made a dedication to Suzanne Kerry saying: "First Christmas without you — love you and miss you! Your mum."
The annual appeal — now in its 13th year — is expected to raise more than £10,000 for the hospice and its services.
People are invited to come along to the special service which starts at 6pm in the St Elli Shopping Centre.
