Wednesday, November 19, 2008, 15:09

THREE people have been arrested on suspicion of the involuntary manslaughter of a Llanelli dad who died at a hotel in Cornwall.

Fred Jackson, who owned the Aquarius colonic irrigation clinic in Coldstream Street, died from carbon monoxide poisoning while staying at the Great Western Hotel in Newquay on April 19.

Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed the three arrests.

A force spokesman said: "They all live local to the Cornwall area.

"Because they are on bail, inquiries are still ongoing. A decision will be made when they return on January 21."

Mr Jackson, aged 52, was a father of two: David, aged 20, and Emma, aged 18.

A member of the Bryn and Trallwm Club and Queen Victoria Club, he was also a helper with the Gateway Club, for people with learning difficulties, and the charity Phab — Physical and Able bodies.
